Morning Berz!!
Ok, you all know that I'm a Celtic fan through & through, but it's also a matter of record on these pages that Davie Cooper was an idol as I was growing up, along with Paul McStay.
Been reading a serialisation of a new Cooper biography on the Record website and just wondered if any of you guys had read the book and if you would recommend it - starting to put together my Christmas list
Cheers everyone

I honestly cant even contemplate how a Celtic fan could idolize a Rangers player growing up....
I knew Laudrup was a top class player, but I couldn't even come close to liking him never mind idolizing him because teh better he played the more he hurt my team?

SJB, I understand that. Didn't like it when he played against us, right enough.
When I was growing up though, I was a left winger. And Cooper was head, shoulder, and chest above anyone else in Scotland at that time. I wanted to do for Celtic what he did for Rangers - as simple as that really.
I met the guy a couple of times too, and he took time to talk to you. The guy was just a class act...
