I thought you had a deal agreed in provide for Higuain for about 23m, until Spurs ramped up the Bale demand. Ended up being 30m+ to Napoli.

I reckon if Bale had cost them 50m or so, the price for Ozil would have subsequently been lower. He's quality, but pretty much surplus there for some reason. They need the money, so Perez has 'Levyed' Arsenal by the look of things.

Don't think so. As usual lots of media rumours flying round, but very much doubt RM would of sold Higuain for £23m, makes no sense, when strikers are so in demand at the moment.

As for Ozil, don't think RM would of accepted even a £45m bid for him had they not bought Bale. The guy is class, aside from Ronaldo their best player last year.

It doesn't make sense that he'd be the one to go with Bale coming in. I'd be highly surprised if Bale will be playing through the middle for them, more likely on the right.

I'd imagine he has become surplus because Isco joined, and Suarez is still a possibility

They signed Bale about only hours ago, and now the Ozil leaving thing has come up.

Di Maria will be the one that is a direct consequence of Bale arriving. I simply can't see Bale playing through the middle. He simply isn't good enough there. Not for us in terms of creating, so certainly not for Madrid

We offered £23M. Madrid wanted £27M. When Napoli entered the race, Madrid jacked up the price and we pulled out. We could've got him for £27M but dithered too long, we made a big mistake. He would've been worth every penny, just like Ozil will prove to be worth every penny of his fee. He is only 2nd to Fabregas in his position.

Haha are the tiny totts still piping up. Your signings bar Lamela and Soldado are all garbage. Oh and Giroud will score more than Soldado this season. Also we have not finished with Ozil. I think we will break our transfer record again.
