According to Peter O'Sullivan on Twitter, we've placed a bid of 35.5m euros for Herrera, which falls short of the 36m buy-out clause. United are apparently claiming that they feel this is "an appropriate offer". Honestly don't know why we wouldn't just add the extra 500,000.

damn we are getting herrera joke and looking at buying fellaini. We don't average herrera, if he was £10m it would have been worth it I never even heard of him and he cost £36m.
