It will be interesting to see how this young aussie does against vettel, I think vettel won't have poles all his own way with him at least. Promoting from within is always good.
Daniel Ricciardo to drive for Red Bull next

think carefully ---- lets not forget massa blew kimi raikk off at ferrari for the best part of 40 races before ferrari finally got sick of kimi raikk and sacked him --

they were together for the best part of 45 races and massa for alot of that time had raikk"s number hence why ferrari got rid of him in favour of keeping massa --

I'm hopeful. The problem is that cars are even more technically challenging these days to get the most out of.
A driver with Vettel's massive experience is a big, big advantage.
Talent alone will not make up for the lack of knowledge.
But he's young and the Torro Rosso may have marked similarities.
I don't know how it will go but I hope Vettel gets a shock, like Alonso did at McLaren.
Have to say I thought this wouldhappen. Red Bull don't wish to alienate their Australian market.

I must say I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with Ricciardo.
The A1 ring will be a battle between the mercs and redbull again
