We all know that Ozil is a fantastic signing, but our striker options look poor.
Giroud has started well but I don't think anybody would describe him as world class and he could easily get injured, Podolski is not a starting centre forward (whatever he prefers) and Sanogo is like Bambi on ice from what I've seen and is just a youngster. Walcott is another one who wants to be a centre forward but that just isn't his position - he is not technically good enough.
Demba Ba would have been a great option and put us in really good shape but anybody who has heard how Mourinho talks about Wenger should know that we were being strung along on that one.
So our attacking midfield looks great, you can make a case for defensive midfield with Flamini - and you can even make a case for our defence (especially if we have recall rights on Miquel or Djourou) - but our strike force ? Nope...
Up front we still look weak...

Hopefully Bendtner can see this as his big chance to get back on track - I personally don't think he has the ability but boy would I like to be proved wrong

I loved Bendtner a few years ago, but then his potential never seemed to materialise... I hope it's still there somewhere and Wenger can bring it out of him

I've always maintained that it's only Bendtner's egotism that makes him look so bad. Sure, he's not the answer to our striking problems but as a backup he's more than capable and scored a few important goals for us a few years back. I'd certainly prefer him on the pitch over Park, although I guess that's not saying much since I'd prefer Gunnersaurus on the pitch over Park (is he dead or what? )
