I think that Wenger as a secret liking of Bendtner,hoping he turns out too be the player he thought he could be when he first signed him,otherwise why is he still at the club.

Same old story, leave it too late, the deal falls through and we'll get the old "we tried" line from Wenger.

Tevez went for £12m, could we have not tried for him?

Or Rooney at £40m, we could afford it even with Ozil?

It depends on what Ozil can do for us. There are strikers like Henry, RVP and Rooney who can create their own goals where as players like Giroud and Bendtner rely on the players around.

If Ozil can create goals then any striker will do if clinical enough which Bendtner, even if he is a twát, can be.

With Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere and Walcott creating chances even Bendtner should score a few....

Pity Pod is out for so long as he would be a perfect replacement and Ozil knows him well, which is a bonus....

Bedntner is just as good as ba, if bendtner get's fit and has the correct attitude we will be fine until january at least
