We must be one of the luckiest clubs ever with our goalkeepers over the years. Even most of our reserve keepers over the years have done well when they came in.
So who has been our best keeper since the mid 90s? And Who's the worst?
I'll go in this order :
Andy Goram
Stefan Klos
Allan McGregor
Ronald Watereuss
Lionel Charbonnier
Antti Niemi
Andy Dibble
Thomas Mhyre
Jesper Christiansen
Lionel Letizi

Cheers super, couldn't remember.
I recall thinking after he came in after Goram....."fecks sake, not another one"
Seem to remember him being a real character as well
Broken arm ? did he not do something Cantonaesque and retire to go fishing/painting/wine growing !

I remember Charbonnier as being a good keeper, he just couldn't take goal kicks
Then he got injured and Klos came in, and that was that.

2)Klos
3)Wattereus
4) Charbonnier
5) Alexander
6) McGregor
7) Mhyre
8) Leitizi
9) Niemi
10) Christiansen
Prob a few others I've forgotten.

there was the 2-0 game at parkhead that waterreus played, he didnt save a penalty but he made about 5 top class saves in that game, 3 from bellamy in the first half, he didnt save a penalty though.
Charbonnier done his knee at home vs bayer leverkusen in the uefa cup, we drew 1-1 at home that night but went through cause we won 2-1 in germany.
Niemi took over the sticks until Klos was signed a few days before xmas, i wasnt convince about klos for the rest of that season but when charbonnier returned to team he was fakin hopeless, flapping like mad against valencia in CL and celtic at parkheid when we drew 1-1
diblle might not have been a top GK but he did well in the few games he had, Letizi is the worst GK ive ever seen at Ibrox

100% agree.
Goalkeeper AND defence have always been the positions we've excelled over Celtic in the past 20 years.
Big Lurch is probably about the best keeper I've seen for Celtic since Bonner, and that probably tells you all you need to know.
1. Goram
2. Klos
3. Charbonnier
4. Watterreus
5. MacGregor
6. Maxwell
7. Niemi
8. Alexander
9. Snelders
10. Christiansen
11. Mhyre
12. Brown
13. Carroll
14. Letizi
