URGENT Help Needed

by ShelfSideSpur. My favourite show is '2 and half man' (U1051)

Morning all,

From a friend of mine...

52 thoroughbred horses urgently need homes, will go to slaughter this Saturday.

The owner sadly passed away and his son wants nothing to do with them.

Most brood mares, broken in and some foaling / weaning 2-3 years old, most geldings free.

Does anyone on this board have contacts that may be able to help?

Not good about the horses though. Why doesn't he sell them?

Someone will make something off them. Thoroughbred's ain't cheap.

Stick them in north London, someone will take them away.

So I presume the plethora of posters on the Racing board have nothing more to do with Horse Racing than supping on ale all day whilst having a flutter

Get on the phone to every stud farm in the country and Trent park equestrian centre.

sureky the trainer takes to do with them all? All he has to do is pay the bill - which im sure he is able to do if his old man could? Tell the trainer to get them in sellers or to sell them. Most trainers know at least a few folk willing to buy

I have actually found out this is a scam its doing to the rounds in Ireland aswell you ring the number its a premium number with polski sitting on the end of it charging you 2.50 a minute.
