I see Mark McGhee was talking about the upcoming WC Qualifier against Belgium on Friday night and remarked that it would be a "step up" from our recent friendly against England.
Hard to argue against that really, isn't it?
How many Englishmen would get in the Belgium team? One or two? I'm thinking Rooney, maybe Walcott? Probably Ashley Cole although he's getting on a bit. After that I really can't see any other English player getting into the Belgian team.
It's going to be a tough match on Friday but with home advantage we might not get tanked.

Doubt Gerrard would even get in tbh. Belgium should be dark horses for the world cup in all honesty

Yeah I can't see Gerrard getting into there team. He's not the player he was.
I think Belgium could do well at the WC, maybe getting a semi final spot, but think they lack the depth to win it. You never know though.
