Ladies and Gentlemen, hello and welcome to ManUtdDaredevil’s official Formula 1 Gran Premio D’Italia race thread. I am one of the fortunate few to have two home races and this is my second. I’ll leave you to work it out. Some may wonder why I’m not a member of the tifosi, I used to be but Ferrari International Assistance put me off. Unfortunately Spa was a boring race and it is ominous that a car that generally struggles on a high speed track with low – medium downforce was so dominant. The season, dear friends could be over. So we need Big John, Sergio or Pastor to do the sport a favour and shunt the finger to prevent him winning this race which in my humble opinion will signal the end of the championship.
The current situation is now farcical that a car is lapping a second faster than anyone else and someone needs to do something about the illegal parts I suspect are on that car. It is funny though that when people challenge this others shout look at Webber but do not apply the same logic to other team mates like Kovalainen when he was at McLaren or Barrichello when he was at Ferrari. We also know now that the fizzy drinks company have hired another lap dog for their golden boy. It is going to be a dry race weekend so hopefully Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes can set up their cars and provide a challenge to the finger.
I can report however that the prancing horse team did not do another secret test
So let's begin;

A Few Facts
Monza is regarded by many as the embodiment of Formula One racing. Not only is it a fantastic example of a track that combines speed with skill, it also has a heart and soul all of its own. It has seen some of the finest races of all time, but also some of the sport's worst accidents. The names of great drivers and the sounds of engines from years gone by linger in the grand old trees surrounding the track in the royal park
The Italian Grand Prix has been run 63 times previously, all but once at Monza. The only exception was the 1980 race which was held at Imola, a track more commonly associated with the San Marino Grand Prix
Michael Schumacher holds the record for the most Italian Grand Prix wins - five. The German is just one ahead of Nelson Piquet who won the race twice for Brabham and twice for Williams.
The 2005 Italian Grand Prix is notable for being one of only four world championship races in history in which there were no retirements. 20 cars started - and finished - the race

A good drive and the car seemed borderline reliability.
fabulous drive by Hamilton. Often a great drive doesn't get the reward it deserves, but he proved again today, he is an out-and-out racer.
Brilliant, best on the track.
