So thoughts.
First off the bat is there is now 21 races on the calender. A record for a F1 season. We lose India (though scheduled to be back in 2015) and gain 3 more races.

No second US Grand Prix. Good thing in my opinion. No country should have two races and another street circuit is not needed in Formula 1. Hopefully the idea gets scrapped altogether.

As expected Russia come into the Formula One calender. A street circuit designed by F1s resident designer Mr. Tilke. Looks to me like it shares the same traits as the S. Korea and Valencia GP track

Also we return to Austria for the first time in a decade to the renamed Red Bull Ring (A1 Ring). Strange to have a circuit named after a competing team but Toyota also had links to Fuji and Honda to Suzuka and we still raced there so hopefully people dont start bringing this up.

Where did the Mexico GP come from??? Had no idea that was going back on the calender. From what I gather it will be in the same location as where F1 was before it Mexico though I presume the track will be updated. Hope they keep the long banked last corner and the long straight. Monza-esque bar the banking.

Smaller points to note is Korea moves from the end of the season to the start and no Valencia as the Spanish GP is now rotating between Barcelona and Valencia.

"Strange to have a circuit named after a competing team but Toyota also had links to Suzuka..."

Toyota owned Fuji, Suzuka.is owned by a Honda run company called, "Mobilityland"!.

Mexico has been massively updated, the last time I saw racing there, but that was a few years ago, also shortened considerably. the bottom loop, where Bandini rammed Hill to help Ferrari team-mate Surtees win the championship in 1964 now built on, sadly.
There had been talk about it because of Perez but I for one will be surprised if it takes place.

Calender too crowded, poorly organised and the drift from Europe is not in the best interests, IMO.

My mistake, had a bit of a memory slip there.

Edited accordingly.

Looks a crowded calendar, 20 races should be just about right.

We've still got 8 European races out of 20 not a bad deal to be honest
