On the back of last night's horrendous display, I am very glad to see we have now given Mr. Chris Riggott (CR20 as he's known in some circles) a 12-month contract.
Anyone else fancying 3-4-1-2, where two of the 4 in midfield play as wing-backs, Brayford moreso than Kilbane obviously.
Or do you think he's (Nigel Clough) better off rotating (if necessary) our three centre-backs? This is going to sound slightly pessimistic, but does anyone else see Shaun getting pushed out of the team?
So, so happy!

I'm pleased to see CR back in a Derby shirt - or I will be once hes fit again, here's hoping he has a great season and earns a longer contract
With regards to playing with 2 or 3 centre-backs after last nights performance I reckon we should play with 10! I reckon that given how injury prone everyone is we will stick with 2 cbs and have some good cover

think we should get a professional coaching staff in, including a manager.

I am awaiting news of his season ending injury imminently.

You just echoed my thoughts. Sentiment aside, do we really need another Russell Anderson? Though I hope CR can prove me wrong, but how many centre-halves do we have and how many of them are injury-prone?
For me, it is still all about midfield and getting someone in the centre of the park and stopping our defence being put under pressure.

It is really unlucky though, our injuries. We expect them to be crocked, but not all at the fekin same time

Football is a contact sport, so you expect injuries/players aren't machines, but Anderson, who I think could do a job for us, was practically out all season as was Buxton. Leacock keeps being 'out' with injuries.
