Wenger looks to the Bundesliga

Oh yes... Fresh off the back of the deal that shook Europe like a seismic wave (the signing of Mesut Özil). The word on the footballing grapevine is that Wenger has longterm plans to add to the marquee signing of Özil, instructing his scouts to keep a firm eye on Lars Bender, Ilkay Gundogan and Marco Reus.

Wenger has not been shy in admitting his admiration for the Bundesliga and paid lip-service to the grassroots coaching of young German players that has seen a resurgence in the national team as well as the virtuous fortunes of both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both domestically and in the Champions league, placing each club snugly amongst Europe's elite.

With the Özil signing setting a clear marker with regards to Arsenal's transfer policy, the school of thought from those within the game is such that the Bundesligal is bracing itself for the prospect of Wenger and Gazidis turning up in Germany next summer with an open cheque-book and an incredibly ambitious longterm plan.

If we were going to buy any new players in the foreseeable future then it would be good option to look
at Bundesliga.

For a start you have Hummels,Bender and Draxler who would make fine additions.

However, our priority at moment must be a striker and
frankly there are now not many options worldwide who are available or buyable.

As we all know, if you've got the money, the selling club (usually) has the time and an open mind.
