I remember when everyone could name the Leeds starting 11- Sprake, Reaney, Cooper, Bremner, Charlton, Hunter etc. Now the same is happening at Bradford City. In the 6 league matches this season every team has featured 10 of the 11 starters that won the play-off final in May.
Phil Parkinson assembled a squad which will be remembered as the history makers forever more and Valley Parade has opened a 2013 suite dedicated to their exploits.
The attitude of the players and management team has galvanised supporters. Young and old fans and even the quieter of our joint chairmen are joining in the singing and clapping making for a great atmosphere at home matches.
Long may it continue for having endured 4th division football for a few seasons we'd love to play our Yorkshire neighbours in the Championship.
The Bantams resemble Leeds Utd

I think that Edinburgh Bantam has a point.
If the surviving players from the Revie era could be coaxed out of retirement then Bradford if they play to their potential may well give them a good run for their money.

I think it's quite clear to anyone of reasonable intelligence all the various points he is making: with the achievements if last season, including promotion, their manager (need to check again - Phil Parkinson) has decide to stick to a regular starting XI for the new season, and this so far has brought some success and allowed fans to know the starting line up. Though perhaps comparing the great Leeds team wasn't the smartest way of saying this!
Then he goes off kilter and seems to assume we still have Bates and Warnock running the show at Leeds....though I wouldn't blame hi, for not knowing! However, there's probably more chance of promotion for Leeds to the Premiership, than Bradford to the Championship this year. Teams in the division will soon suss out Bradford; though I agree, a stable starting XI that is playing well, bodes well!
Realistically, the pinnacle of the aims of both Leeds United and Bradford this season, will be to get into the play-offs.....

Though in the meantime, he can console himself that Bradford are already bigger than $hitty clubs like Millwall and get treble their gates....... (apart from when the Mighty Whites come to town).

I know who your manager is because I've watched your thrilling(?) matches on Sky. I would love to see Leeds promoted back to the Premier League after all the setbacks you loyal supporters have suffered over recent years.
Perhaps if I'd used the great Liverpool team as an example of consistent selection the Scousers wouldn't have been as touchy as my fellow Yorkies?
We would be ecstatic if we reached the play-offs this season.

The only thing Bradford is good for is as a stopping off point for Millwall fans to exchange their vouchers for tickets to Leeds.

The voucher system has been found to be flawed Jonty, as the numbers involved do not justify a print run.

Even Hayemaker might get it?

Edinburgh Bantam - I wouldn't have a problem enjoying the Leeds - Bradford derbies again.
As for the rivalry banter? Isn't that a major part of football in general?

I would have thought the Millwall fan would stop somewhere en-route to Leeds from the south and not go past Leeds to get his ticket....?
Somewhere like a service area on the M1 perchance...?
Geography not very good there Jonty. 2/10 Must try harder

It is not surprising that the system is flawed if they have to go to Bradford to collect their tickets eh...?
