Is there such a thing as a "footballing brain"?
And, if there is - can theo Walcott have one please.
Undoubted talent. But how many times can one person make the wrong decision in one half of a football match....
A footballing brain?

I never referred to the 70s/80's that was RedGamester.

Yes and my comment was to him. You then made an unneccessary comment about me which i then responded to.
Anyway, I agree with most of what you're saying about quotas. There does need to be some encouragement for clubs to bring the home grown talent through, rather than buy cheaper, foreign alternatives. But at the same time we actually need to produce these good players and let them develop before thursting them into the senior sides. We basically need to look at Germany and Spain, who have done things differently. choose which one we like and stick with it.

Chill Cannigia, I only said it to get a nibble. For what it's worth I actually think you make a lot of sense in the vast majority of your posts

The nibble/fishing thing is a bit cringe worthy c stander. I would steer clear, one thing throwing a wind up or firework in. Just relate that to someone putting something crap down to look for attention, then think of responses as an achievement (like twitter)

Jack chill. Even Cannigia gets it. My main points still stand. That was serious, something needs to be done and addressed so that not every team is awash with foreign players.
