Before we were interrupted by the international break, you lost at the home of the league leaders. My question to you is did this come as a shock or were you equally disappointed by the appointment of David Moyes as I was delighted with it?
Liverpool are normally under more pressure than United were able to force on us and altough we also created little, we were good enough to beat the champions. I have always been confident about what Rodgers is doing and support his ideas fully.
Come on feel the Moyes.
MUFC,were you surprised to lose at Anfield?

i dont disagree mate, in fact ive said for the last couple of seasons that as an 11 you have a very decent team with one or two purchases.
you have done that with Coutinho and sturridge.
you just dont have the strength in depth, or the mentaility to win the league at this point.

I didn't say we could win it. I think we have the mentality to finish in the top four. The attitude looks very good and that doesnt come alone because the ability is clearly there. The squad wont cope well with many injuries (except in defence now) but on the whole its got more goals in it. If you find yourself near the top come April we could have found the belief by then that we could challenge. But i am not saying we will. A good start means you are ready to push on.

I'm not hedging my bets. I am pointing out what Liverpool can do this season based on the attitude and quality in the squad.

its obvious by your posts that you think you can win the league but you havent got the balls to say it.

Even before all this i have always thought that he could play on the left of a front three.
There are many options but would he feel put out?
He started there away to City and Arsenal last season with Sturridge (CF) and Downing (RW)
He played wide for Ajax very often.
If Lucas, Gerrard and Henderson make up the main midfield then there will be a combination of Sturridge, Coutinho and Suarez up front.

Suarez is naturally a support attacking player who plays one of the wide roles in a 4-2-3-1. But he is also capable of playing in the middle of the 3, or in a pinch do a great job out of position at striker.
So no he won't upset the balance. and he and Sturridge won't be competing for the same place. Sturridge is a striker who can 'do a job' out wide.
Suarez is a wide forward who can 'do a job' at striker.
