Looks like we are going to lose Sol Bamba this evening. Few well sourced tweets are coming out and are not looking good.
Following on from the previous article about Sol;
"Steve Kean tells Sky Sports that Blackburn are "quite close" in their pursuit of Sol Bamba. He says their offer "hasn't been rejected" #LCFC"
"Sol Bamba to Blackburn is definitely taking place #BRFC"
"Blackburn manager Steve Kean - "We are quite close to signing Sol Bamba" #BRFC #LCFC"
see you later, sport.

When Bamba playing well he's worth £5 million, but he does have those moments that can cost you games.
We have got CBs:- St Ledger, Tunchev, and Ball and I think Peltier can play there as well.
St Ledger would step in initially, but if Tunchev recovers fully I have always thought he would eventually form the partnership with Mills.
A difficult one for Sven, but I would be tempted

I wouldn't take such a paltry (poultry) offer from these guys seriously;

Load of rubbish !

Would be a massive loss if you ask me. Awful bit of business at this point in the summer whatever the price.

if we lose Bamba, then on what i have seen so far, I would re-call Alezsander Tunchev from Crystal Palace, sooner rather than later, I feel Sean St.Ledger is not up to the task yet!
In my view sol Bamba would be better off staying at Leicester, as next year Blackburn rovers may well be in the Championship, and we will be in the Premiership.

Never mind Bamba.... what's happened to Dungeon Master.... I have been back from China for over two weeks but no sign of any posts
Has he been transferred ? surely not dropped down the divisions into the second division boards...
Didn't take him to Austria did you Glorialestafan?

We're not exactly a selling club and i cant see any reason why we would want to. Cant see Sven being happy to see him leave. So it think its all down to what Sol wants, he seems happy enough whenever he's interviewed on Eastmidlands Today. Fingers crossed........ (but i think i'll wait till after the transfer window shuts before i get bamba printed on the back of my shirt )

Anyone who has a current player's name printed on their shirt is a mug these days. I have mixed feelings about Bamba, but it could be good business, and ultimately, Mills/Tunchev would ideally be the dream team.

Bamba has looked class alongside Mills and star performances against Real Madrid and Coventry say it all. I can't see us splashing £5 million on Mills only to let Bamba go----its not going to happen

Sven has personally said 'Bamba is not for sale' and 'no approach has been made' in an interview
Hopefully this is how it will remain

I rather think that Bamba form has come as a pleasent surprise otherwise why spend £1.25 mil on St. Ledger only for him to sit on the bench?
