Two sayings

Two sayings I really dislike are
Job done........... and
With all due respect.
With "job done", this is always said after an unconvincing 1;;0 win against somebody in a cup tie. Now, I don't know about you but I don't shell out £30 to watch a job done, I can get that for free at the nearest building site to home.
I want to see skill and effort, and hopefully a bit of magic some where in the 90 minutes, come in Mr.Berbatov or Mr.Suarez.

"With all due respect" always preceeds against a team lower in the division.
Just saying it is a mark of disrespect, plus the team is a premiership team, with their own stars, good players, good manager and coaches. Anyone can beat anyone on their best day ( Cardiff v Man City ) so any assumptions in advance are arrogant unless it is a team at least two divisions lower.
Anyone agree? and any dislikes of your own.

Agreed! Classic example is the Ukraine v England game the other night. People saying 'job done' because we didn't lose and got a point.
I feel so sorry for the poor sods that paid all that money to get over to the Ukraine just to watch such a dour and boring 'job done' performance.

As for a saying I dislike: "There is no such thing as an easy game".
Why do managers of premier teams say that, and then when the likes of Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs etc, are drawn against the 'lower' teams in a cup match, they put out a side with four or five reserve / youth players in it. If they really believed there is no such thing as an easy game, they would surely play their strongest side against the 'lower' teams.

With all due respect we should be beating teams like Swansea and I for one think we can get the job done and take all three points in the game on Monday. Job done, end of. Do it for Lucas.
