Mirallas.

Watching him playing alone up top against Chelsea today made me think that he'd be an excellent January signing for us for anything less than 12 million or so. He's strong, he's quick, intelligent, versatile, he'd be an excellent back up to Giroud (who you can hardly call to be replaced on current form).

Also, he's not cup tied for European competitions.

would everton sell him if he is so good ?

Bill Kenwright doesn't sell his players cheaply.

He would cost us circa £15m and for me I would rather spend £30m on a class signing that can guarantee goals and creativity.

Why fill up our bench with more Bendtners and Chamakhs when we have just gotten rid of those (or at least most of them)?

We have a decent core of around 18 players and we need to add to that 18 with a decent CB, a decent WF and a class striker.

You wouldn't see Mirallas on the bench of City, Chelsea or United, so why should he be on the bench of Arsenal.

Go hard or go home. The precedent has now been set with the purchase of Özil.

Good backup, but we need more now.

It'll be a complete unknown again. We weren't linked to Ozil until the 30th August. We'll find out the day before again.

No point signing squad players. Just sign players who are better than what we have and then see if our current players step up. If they do then great, they keep their spot but we have more depth. If they don't step up then they go to the bench and we have more depth.

If we can get him for somewhere between 12-15m then imo that's okay. He will be the perfect foil to Giroud ie pairing up with him or replacing him.

Wenger won't buy a £12M-£15M striker anymore.
He is targeting a £30m+ now. Anything else will be just a loan or free
That's why he tried Ba And Pastore on loan.

He already rejected us for Everton. We wanted him but he wanted more playing time so went there instead.

I would love him, absolutely class. Good on the ball with a deadly shot. He's like a mix between Podolski and Walcott although not as fast as Walcott
