I like Adebayor and hope we keep him. On form he is a quality player and offers something completely different to the rest of our strikers.
Like BAE (and VDV) though I can't see AVB giving him much time. AVB seems to like players who are athletic, keen to give 100% and who are willing to fight for their positions. In contrast to Harry he doesn't seem to have much time for players who are talented but perhaps lacking in the effort department.

In the last week or so I've seen two articles regarding Ade's future.
One was an actual interview, with many quotes, where he implied he wanted to fight his way to being first choice striker.
This one features no quotes or sources whatsoever, and says he's looking for a payoff and wants to leave.
Now, which one to believe...........

Keep him until Jan then sell and bring in another better striker

"he just needs someone to push him and motivate him"
I can think of maybe 50k reasons per week to motivate him.

I am no Adebayor fan and never have been but I wont necessarily believe the articles either. It will be interesting to see what unfolds because the truth has a habit of coming out in the end despite the medias best efforts to sensationalise and hinder a bit of honesty.
