With Kevin Doyle out injured again this is his chance to maybe cement his place in the starting line up for the remaining Euro Qualifiers.
Also he now has the added distraction of Simon Cox trying to force his way into the side as well. This is great news for the ROI side as it is always best to have competition for places in the side.
Expect to see plenty of endeavour and determination from the lad from Gortnahoe tonight. Whether he gets on the scoresheet and does enough to impress Trapatonni remains to be seen.

Not a chance while Trapatonni is manager i'm afraid. Stokes himself has admitted this.

For once Megans i agree with your comment about the match being a bore. Pre-season friendly with players afraid of picking up injuries.
Still good to say Shay Given keep another clean sheet.
