First off appointing Rafa full time was just not an option. I had no problem with him myself but there was too much bad blood between him and a number of fans to made it impractical to give him the job.

Jose can get pretty cautious when we go 2 nil up, but i think this whole he is cautious thing is blown way out of proportion, with the exception off some big away games (like OT), he always goes out to win and what's forgotten is Rafa is pretty cautious himself, put it this way we won't be starting Bertrand on the left wing at home to Fulham.

In his first spell (as Patrick Barclay said) we were out of the blocks quicker than Usian Bolt and apart from Old Trafford, we have started the matches very well.

Also Jose takes risk's with his sub's, last season we were losing at one point Rafa took Azpi off and brought on Ivanovic.

Regarding the Mata thing, as nice as the Mazacar are to watch for the neutral, we cannot play that trio at the same time if it is to win us titles. Schurrle will be a regular this season purely because of the fact he offers good work rate and defensive duty, because under the Mazacar we conceded a lot of goals. If Rafa stayed on i think he would have done the same.

Mata was our best player in our last two season's when we finished 6th and 3rd, it remains to be seen if he can stand out when we turn into a title challenging team. Jose is a proven winner so if he decides Oscar is a superior option for what he wants in the number 10 role, then he has my backing.

I love Mata but i don't think losing him will be the end of the world disaster people think, i mean United lost Ronaldo yet have since won 2 titles and lost out on the other two by one point and goal difference.

Im not saying i want Mata to leave, i don't, but at the same time, i fully trust Jose. Tbh i have never been fussed about style of football as far as im concerned football's, football, we played "good football" under RDM (when he was manager not interim) but we looked so weak at the back i couldn't enjoy it.

Jose will build a solid and balanced team, and we won't be as bad to watch as general opinion thinks imo.

Yeh and i still think you are way off the mark to be honest in your view that Ozil is streets ahead of Eriksen because he is not. Ozil is world class no doubt and better than Eriksen as it stands. Eriksen is 21 and also has massive potential to be world class and possiby near Ozils level. No way Ozil is twice the player of Eriksen as you suggest.

Oscar is superior to Mata in the number 10 role and is a gem of a player. Only second to Ozil in that position.

D'jeesuz, no Bergkamp Etc weren't mugs but Henry did carry you most the time. Just like bale has done 2nd half of season for us. My point being we now have a player of that caliber who can do things for us on his own but we also have quality ie Lloris, dembele, vertonghen, Defoe and Lennon etc

He said Bale is the same calibre of Henry.

Yeah AVB was useless first now hailed the messiah by spurs fans.
