He was decent last year, we struggled when he went to African Cup last year and were much stronger at the end when he returned.

But he was slaughtered by most of our fans, I guess he is lower in the pecking order than Schurrle, KDB and £30m pound Willian so it is good he is on loan much smarter than selling him for pittance and regretting it later.

Moses wasn't that great in pre-season, I don't get why everyone goes on as if he was some sort of revelation. He played a half in every game, 7 halves. He was good in 2 of them, the Milan games. In the other 5 he was average/non-existent.

I don't rate Moses that highly. However I do not see the point in loaning out a player perfectly adequate as back-up and having to spend £18million on a player to replace him in Schurrle. Moses and Schurrle are interchangable in the squad, neither would have a significant impact over the other in the upcoming season. Maybe next season we'll loan Schurrle and spend £25million on another meh winger/striker for 6th chioce in the threee because we can.

Same game as everyone else, he ghad a good first half but was relatively ineffective in the 2nd and was taken off, even the commentry team remarked on the contrast between his 1st and 2nd half performance.

Moses had a great pre season for us, he had flashes of brilliance last year but with the competition for places at Chelsea this year he is better off elsewhere. I hope the scousers appreciate him.
