so because he has been sent off in Germany does that means he would be in England? Ashley Williams has not been sent off as yet. Wenger doesn't knows

It actually went under the radar that the deal to take the Brazilian to Wolfsburg was inevitable.
For all the flack Wenger got for seemingly not busting a nut to get Gustavo, many failed to understand of the 'special relationship' between Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich.
It's a very real 'relationship' and not some pointless fabrication in the vein of Tottenham/Real Madrid.
There is also a 'business link-up' between both clubs and German car manufacturing giants Audi..
Add to that, the fact the player got a huge incentive to move to Lower Saxony with a 'knee trembler' in a pub carpark in the shape of a hot cash/beef injection from Bayern. He's also on a reported wage of 135 thousand Euro's a week!
Add that up, and suddenly it becomes clear that the player was not worth pursuing.

Sent off twice already for bookable offences. Petty fouls and the like. Of course it could happen in England. No goals, no assists. Clearly not worth £17 million more than Flamini, who is a proven premier league player.

But Williams wouldn't start ahead of Koscielny or Per and we haven't dropped any points when using our back up cbs. Wenger knows.
