A test for Echo !
Hope the pair of you find/read this...
I was wondering if the pair of you would be up for a bit-o 'Shaymen Banter'
on this chat board...
instead of having to just mention in passing ..on our respective 'boards; as we seem to do at the moment.
I'll pop some thing up on here from time to time & see if we can get something going

Just seen that Ken ...
Brillo,
The Shaymen are on the up
btw. Who's the 'FC HT' character is he a mate of your's,
& do you see him from time to time ?
Yeah, It would be good if we can get him to contribute with eyewitness accounts....
I can see this site having 'upto' 3 regular contributors at this rate
Also , Thanks admin
much appreciated.

Yeah he is, loyal supporter who even went to all the West Riding Cup games last season, but obviously gave up contributing on this board after his last article got 0 comments- "more non-league clubs syndrome"
Regarding the attendance figure given earlier, the 5th highest out of the 12 matches in the division on the night. £17 for adults, is that too high?

Way too high..
considering it was only a 'tenner' to watch the championship game just 7 short miles to the south !
It's a conundrum though eh Ken.
even if it had been just 5 quid to watch the Shaymen last night...would they have drawn more than 2 thou ?
hard to say.
So, will FC HT be making a reappearance then ?

Sorry darn only just seen this. With work and the purchase of the new Grand Theft Auto game my time is sparse at the moment.
Great start for FCHT. Need to just keep plodding along, nothing spectacular, nothing to add undue pressure at this stage of the season. Just keep a hand on the coat tails of 'the pack' and come March.....BANG! Cement that playoff place and let fan power do the rest
Need to cut down on the s though. Obviously a huge gulf in how the refs see the game from the Unibond to the conference. Sat at the top having finished 2 games with 9 men is just sooooooo Halifax
MON THE SHAYMEN!!

Thanks for joining us, or more to the point......
Letting us join you on YOUR board
I think from what has been said above,
It will be appreciated if you can give us an after match analysis of the games you attend,
For now I'll knock out pre game match threads, & hopefully we can get some interest going......
tell as many of your mates too 'FC' The more Blockheads the better
I expect you'll be at the game this 'aft'...I'll be on here having a look on the match thread comments....
Just in case anyone puts up the odd comment
& then there were 4 .....

Hi Darn Unda, do you get to many Town games?
Today's game against Hereford was very open and ever side could have won it but in the end a 1-1 was a fair result.
Richard Brodie game the Bulls the lead after 8 minutes after a defensive lapse by Danny Lowe. He was under pressure just outside the area but instead of booting it into the stand he got dispossessed on the edge of the area and a pass across the edge of the area allowed Richard Brodie to fire home to give Hereford an early lead.
Halifax hit back on 31 minutes when Dan Gardner's free kick from 25 yards was deflected into the Bulls goal by Hereford's striker Sam Smith for an own goal. At half time it was 1-1.
The 2nd half provided few clear cut chances and there were substitutions made by both sides to try and get the winner but that never came and the game ended 1-1.

A big drop in the crowd to say it was a Saturday 3.00 ko. Were you able to meet up with Duzza, or are the two stands segregated to prevent people moving between the two areas? If so has this affected the matchday experience?

FCHT - Darn's an ex-pat mate, lives in Perth, Western Australia these days. Think it's Perth anyway. He's a Huddersfield fan like myself but has Halifax connections, as do I as I'm Halifax born, bred and still residing...Boothtown
