Today Laura Robson went out of the Guangzhou Open.
She will lose ranking points and is slowly sliding down the rankings table meaning she's not looking like being seeded for Aus Open unless her form picks up.
Jo Konta also went out of same event today, but picked up points and is now up to about 124 in rankings...not far off automatic entry to Slams.
We should have 3 Brit girls doing well on world stage but I'm starting to get concerned that Laura is just not fixing her serve.

Ugh, Robson goes out in straight sets in China and is slipping down the rankings, will now be mid 40s.
Johanna Konta meanwhile won her first round match and has great chance against lower seeded opponent in next round and is homing in on 110 spot from the 125 she was at a few days ago.

Dies a death on here when no slams being played. Really hope Laura sorts out that serve during the off season

Up to all of us to make some contributions
Laura just won her first round match in China Open v Zakapalova in 3 sets but she still needs to fix that serve.
Kpnta retired from her next match with abdominal muscle problems, hope that doesn't undo good work she's done in rising up ranks.
Meanwhile Watson loses again.
The niumber of matches Robson and Watson lose after winning first set is quite alarming.
Normally, if you win first set its about 80% chance you win match, there is something wrong with their focus and fitness.
I am Robson and Watson's biggest advocate on here, but they've both lost their way this year (I know Watson was ill) and they both need to regroup quickly to have any sort of good run at Aus Open and grab valuable ranking points.
