Or save the top players from the risk of getting injured and then can't play at forest,
Will be interesting to see what Nigel does
Would you play full first team on Tuesday?

The reason you haven't answered is because you haven't got a clue. You and I and everyone else has watched football for decades and can't make the decision because we have no idea what our budget is or the restrictions placed on the manager.
Maybe Nigel is doing an exceptional job under the circumstances, maybe he's not, you can't judge because you don't know what the circumstances are.
You see a petulant daddies boy with no clue about football, I see the ex international footballer who lived with the greatest manager of all time and who cares about Derby and understands what it means to be a Derby fan. I'll take that over gambling on some untested manager any day.

With all due respect, Iwas, that's b0110cks.
It is not down to restrictions on the budget that we have ended up with a lop-sided squad, blessed with riches in one area and devoid of even cover in others. It is not down to to restrictions on budget that certain players are marginalised in order to accommodate others in a team that subsequently offers no width at all. It is not down to restrictions on budget that substitutions are made at a point when they have little chance of effecting change.
As for who else I'd take to manage Derby County, it's ABC; anyone but Clough.

you've answered your own question Iwas, how can we possibly suggest which manager would come here for what is on offer? we do not know what is on offer! Certainly Nigel seems happy with what's on offer, never once has he moaned. Even Harry Redknapp, 6 months into the job threatened to walk. Nothing from Nigel.
I don't accept the not changing the manager out of the unknown for the next manager. If I was in a severely unhappy marriage, I personally wouldn't stick with a wife who makes me miserable simply because I don't know how much more suitable my next woman might or might not be.

we could go round and round in circles all day. The problem we have is lack of investment and ambition from the top. No manager will do well.
Every wife has their faults but you don't divorce them for not ironing your shirts the way you like when all else is ok.
