Andros Townsend

Honestly can't make my mind up with this guy and whether he'll make it with us or not.

Pros
-He has a good shot which he can probably refine
-He's quick and quite skilfull
-Always seems confident which is a good quality
-Passes the ball quite nicely at times

Cons
-Breaks down play a lot with his long wayward shots
-Seems to disappear in games
-Doesn't offer much defensively
-One footed?

What do other fans think?

Townsend is definitely not one footed. His ability to kick with both feet is a strength of his.

^^^I only say one footed because I have never really seen him do much with his right foot.

He always looks to cut in and have a shot, never to go down the byline and try whip in a cross. Even against Tsibilisi his cross for Paulinho's goal was from a nice little lobbed cross with his left foot after cutting in.

He will inevitably get criticised for his constant Bale-imitating i.e. cutting in and going for glory, but I do like him. He's good on the ball and doesn't often give it away when he has it. If he could practice making his shots more accurate then he'd be our top scorer by now.
