Not really something to be proud of...that the humiliation of losing to the Baggies is enough to force the opposing team's board to sack the manager!

How's life in the Championship? Any prospect of a return to the Premier League any time soon? No, I thought not......
How's your dodgy owner Carson Yeung's trial looking?

Aries, you're normally a sensible poster. The point Barca was making is that club chairman see losing to WBA as unacceptable. Some might see that as being disrespectful to Albion, but its indicative of how the club is perceived.
Now you can respond by having a dig at Birmingham, (or any other club), but the overall analogy is correct, however bitter the taste.

Complete rubbish as per normal.
We don't need to go over Micks reign at Wolves but I doubt if he was sacked because Morgan saw West Brom in such a poor light that losing to them cost him his job. After all, it wasn't the 1st loss. It was one of many to the Baggies.
Sunderland have a shocking record against us and I don't recall them sacking previous manager's as a result of them losing to 'little ole West brom'. MoN survived the indignity as did Bruce.
It's highly unlikely that anyone associated with WBA had any involvement in the dictatorial confrontational management style employed by PDC. Ultimately, Sunderland players got the major hump with being treated like they were and told their boss they wouldn't play for him again. So, to try and make a link to PDC being sacked as a direct result of losing to the baggies is incorrect.
We have a bit of fun with these stats but you seem to want to infer.

Funny by Gaslight, I don't see any bitterness coming from over here. You're making the assumption that I was responding to what Blue in Barca said. I wasn't. I was just having a dig at Birmingham City and Carson Yeung.
If I wanted to have a dig at second-rate clubs like Birmingham and Wolverhampton, I would say that it's ok to lose to that kind of club because the law of averages says that the Birminghams and the Wolverhamptons of the world do beat the big teams occasionally.
