We have a new manager with a new footballing philosophy, taking over the previous manager who was manager for 11 years.Moyes's DNA ran right through the club, all the players were Moyes players and yet we playing a different style of play are now the only unbeaten team in the Premiership.
How can a team who 'played hoofball' according to those so called knowledgeable fans from across the park, adapt so quickly to a pass on the deck and retain possession at all times type of football.
What puzzles me even more is how are neighbours from across the park, who's fans always boasted about the type of football they played took months and months to slightly modify their game. They always said they played 'the passing game' and yet Rodgers took over a manager who was in charge for less than 18 months and yet the Liverpool fans made excuse after excuse when they had the worst start for 100 years last season.
I know our neighbours started this season on fire and had their best start for 19 years,so imagine how well we might do under Martinez when our hoofers eleven get time to adapt to this drastic change in style of play.
Be interesting to see how this season pans out
Can anyone explain, cos I just don't get it

Well I am sorry to talk about football on a football forum, I bet you have never made one single comment apart from discussions about Everton?

Actually no I haven't, I am Everton through and through, my Brother is Liverpool through and through. You may have been talking about football but you were also trying to get a rise out of Liverpool supporters. Why?

Revenge for all the grief they gave us when Martinez took over. They predicted doom for us,and success for themselves, and after 5 games, only a point separates us.

What does your brother have to do with this. Don't try to tell me what to discuss.

Arouna, I was not telling you what to discuss. Just pointing out that in this City more than any other whole families are split down the middle on either side of Stanley. In recent years it appears that what used to be friendly rivalry has become more and more vitriolic. I support my team no matter what and have no interest in any other, I do not see the point in trying to get a rise out of other teams supporters, it is pointless and just causes animosity.

So no interest in other teams? Hmmm.
We are done.

Martis how high is that ivory tower you obviously live in.
I support Everton first and foremost,so don't try and lecture me on what or what not to say on this debate site.
The amount of abuse hurled towards the blues who contribute on this website by our rivals across the park over the years gives me and others every right to reply in kind.
If you are not happy in what you read then either shut up of ship out shipmate

Everton have adapted quicker because they are better than Liverpool and have a better manager.
