Cheltenham Away

Sorry this is silly, why is our game with Cheltenham the only game postponed? Yes spurs game postponed - understandable. But Cheltenham? your kidding. Im sorry yes Health and safety is an issue but surely this is to far? Im absouletly fuming right now, yes I wasn't going but I was looking foward to the game and now we will be a week slower than everyone else.

Was really looking forward to this, I bet it gets re-arranged for midweek meaning I can't get there coz of work!

Can't believe our game is off, every city which has had large scale problems are allowing football matches to go ahead this Saturday. Would imagine Gloucestershire police force is not the biggest but surely they can spare enough for a low key game with around 5,000 in attendance. Perhaps they have received enough intelligence reports to suggest otherwise. Think Nicholas Wray had offered to send Swindon Stewards up to Cheltenham if it meant the game could still go ahead. Not the news any Swindon fans wanted to hear after a only one competitive game.

GAME BACK ON !! Gloucestershire police say they will now have the resources to cover our match. Wray was on sky sports earlier having a moan so perhaps that helped ! Great news.

Yep great news - The main question is why did they postpone it in the first place I don't think it was because of insufficient police numbers, questions need to be answered - But i'm not going to ask them! I'm just very happy

Yea we do. If I remember we have a pretty poor record agaisnt Cheltenham love another win, Defiantly love to still be top by 5pm saturday

Must of been the shock of the game being cancelled, I made the mistake of calling Jeremy Wray, Nicholas on one of my previous posts, was prob thinking of Nick Watkins ! Off to Cheltenham tomorrow then away for a couple of weeks so hope you all sing up for the town v our friends !
