Naismith gets a hard time

Surprisingly he wins almost every header he goes up for despite his small stature a bit like Cahill in that respect but obviously Cahill won his headers in the box to score

Hopefully Cahill can come back to coach him then

He seems to be one of the first names on Martinezs team sheet at the moment.

He has more to come and having played a lone striker role he has the energy....a Kuyt type....but with more goals I hope

Second half against Chelsea how won every header he went for.

You could see howard target him from every GK and clearance.

I think it's down to confidence with naismith, he must surely know the crowd are sceptical of him and read comments on social media ( hence Martinez's recent comments) I think it affects him badly and is a player who needs an arm round the shoulder.

Well two goals in his last three starts and the manager saying good things about him. Confidence should be sky high.

Crowds are fickle....how many ever got onto Arteta when he was poor all season before leaving for arsenal?
Naismith is an ossie/hibbert, a good honest pro who will never moan and always put a shift in (they never get the credit they deserve)

Agree with last comment to a certain extent but honestly don't think he he is good enough

I would love a team of superstars....but they bring trouble, our team needs these plyers.....in fact every team does.

He does not get a hard time just criticism as all players get and expect. He is okay but as someone else said he doesn't rip up any trees being inconsistent, but married to that he also gets credit when it is deserved.

Since i wrote this last year he has done exactly as i predicted.
