Good luck to him hope he makes a full recovery from last season’s injury and gets back to being the goal machine we remember.

Wolves had a good following to that game and many of the supporters I spoke to felt robbed that they had spent good money travelling 60 miles up the M6 to watch a reserve team. So those that were there were far from happy.
As it turned out we may well have got a result but for a calamitous error by Zubar

Zubar with an error
I guess it was swept over quick enough due to the result the following Saturday, if we had lost that it would have been amplified quite a bit I reckon.
I kind of understood the decision, but a little naughty all the same.

If I remember correctly Cinci we'd battled to hard fought 1-0 victory at Spurs on the Saturday and then I think a six point basement battle with Burnley was the next weekend, which we won 2-0 with the cup match in between.
He did the same amount of changes for the Burnley game and nowt was said.
But not a good job for thr travelling hoards in Manchester

This stuff about SEB being overweight is a bit of a myth. He is just got a rotund shape about him and a big r's. He is not short on pace or fitness

The greatest striker ever - Der Bomber - was a bit of a porker.

I thought it was a league game ohso, but you are right with the spurs and burnley games sandwiching it.

Yes Cinci, the Manc game was a PL fixture but I think Mick was within his rights to save the better players.

Yeah, I totally understood the logic behind it ohso

Just watched Albion v Arsenal highlights, not knowing any scores from tonight. Some questions:
A) Rosenberg - why, just why?
B) It was decided to have the penalties taken at the home end for safety reasons - is that because there were far fewer fans?
C) Amouthamotor - Is he really the saviour?
D) How can a full strength side lose to Arsenal's third team?
E) Why aren't Albion interested in cups - surely this last four seasons they have been comfortably better than around half the Prem?

Ummm, didn't we get thumped 5-1 by their kids not so long back? Arsenals, not WBAs.

Apparently the All-bums were leading in the penalty shootout. Had Arsé lost, Wenger would probably have lost his job...
