Valve's Steam Pcs - Half Life 3 at last?

With the news that Valve will be releasing both a new operating system and a line of custom PCs running it, does this mean that they are no longer interested in making games?

Or is this the reason threy've been holding back on Half Life 3 (and Left 4 Dead 3 as well for that matter)? What do you reckon?

True, but maybe with the next gen nearly here, and Valve moving into the hardware market, things are in place for them to start getting busy on the things their fans REALLY want.

By the way, have you seen that controller they're designing.

Obviously not.

News has "leaked" about the dev team reportedly working on HL3, I bet Valve are doing this deliberately, to keep the game in the public's mind...
