Not seen the incident yet and don't condone cheating. If he's guilty then hopefully AVB will ban vertonghen from watching hazard, Oscar, David luiz and cashley in the future

Naughton was okay.

Soldado wasn't used in the second half. Eriksen barely touched the ball either, especially in Chelseas half, after half time. Felt Defoe running round Soldado may have given you something different.

My subs would have been

Sandro > Paulinho - looked tired in second half

Holtby > Townsend - ineffective second half

Defoe > soldado

Yes, but the question is .... when would you have made those subs?
With Sandro on Paulinho would not have gotten tired out doing two men's work.

Would of made the Sandro one around the hr mark when we was really under the cosh.

But tbh Sandro would of started with Dembele missing out but have to say also that Dembele was great today!

From what I've heard of the game and how it went, sandro should have come on for either eriksen or one of dembele/paulinho. Neither of the latter are natural specialist DM's so therefore don't have the instinct to spot danger or positional sense that sandro has

Just re watch the game on motd and the only reason Dembele was deeper was because ivanovic was pushing him back otherwise he would of stayed in line with the rest!

Also the paulinho chance that ivanovic cleared never relised the pull back ivanovic done to get in front of paulinho - pen?

Going in at HT it was obvious Mourinho was going to change it - Mata for Lampard or Mikel was pretty obvious.

Can't really blame AVB for not changing it at HT, but probably a contingency should have been ready once we saw how it was panning out.

Personally I would have put Townsend at LM, protection for Naughton, put Holtby at RM and put Defoe on (Siggy and Eriksen off) Not that they'd done anything wrong just tactical.

Chelsea played exceptionaly we'll 2nd half though - sometimes you just have to accept we probably wouldn't have stemmed them. They have some very good players, Mata and Oscar especially, and Torres looking like his old self.
