Moyes needs to be decisive

We're only 6 games into the season but I think most on here would acknowledge that despite winning the league easily last season, it was hardly vintage United. (I personally feel last years Premiership was a poor one tbh).

I'm scratching my head as to how a squad which fared well last year in terms of Premiership results (if not performances) appears so lack-lustre, and quite frankly, mediocre this season thus far. Players such as Buttner, Fabio, Valencia, Cleverley, Wellbeck, Young fail to inspire (I'm being kind there to a couple of them), and I suspect that Fellaini is going to fall into the same category (un-inspiring and unimaginative ....... and everything in 'slow-time'!)

I think that the next two transfer windows needs a fair bit of activity from United to bring some freshness into the squad. We still need at least two CM's and not robots like Cleverley/Fellaini but players who can up the tempo and influence games. I am Carrcks biggest fan but would be the first to say that even he tends to slow the game down nad whilst he should still be in that midfield, we needs energy there with him now, and not Anderson!!!!!!!

Moyes also needs to start to play players in their position, and start to replace even the stalwarts if they are not up to the mark. Rio looked indecisive to me even against Leverkusen, and has got gradually worse. Now its time for players like Smalling or Jones to be given opportunities in their proper positions along side the likes of Evans or Vidic.

Moyes has a huge squad at his disposal but a good proportion of it isn't top, top quality, in fact, very few of them are so much work is needed to revitalise the squad and I for one would like to see Moyes being ruthless.

I will still back Moyes as I believe that he is the right choice right now for the job BUT he needs to make his mark, and more importantly, make some difficult decisions to move United forward. He needs to inspire......

What makes you think Moyes is the right man?

Just asking.

A six year contract handed down from people who know a lot better than I do.

I agree that Rio and Evra need to be moved on and the midfield needs a re think. Carrick is still good enough but needs help in the middle and Fellaini will become an important squad membe. We need at least one top CM and if Kagawa is not good enough for Moyes playing from the left he needs a top LW.

I just want to know when are certain people on here finally going to stop going on about how kagawa nani and Anderson should be playing. They just not doing the business.

David Moyes looks confused and does not appear to be too happy in his new job. He probably needs to make sure that this does not infect his team, and he also needs to learn to blame the officials for every time Man. U, loses, just like old Fergie did!

Think you guys are in a similar position to when we won the league with record goals. We played some lacklustre stuff but the goals papered over the cracks.the year after we failed to find the net and it showed even though not much changed in our team.
I think last year you guys still got results but there's not much difference in performances because last year you guys were woeful at times and most opposition fans thought" how have they managed to win that one" fair play, but this year your not winning those matches other than Swansea.
