Now I am not getting ahead of myself, and I think it's too premature to jubilate and celebrate anything.
There's one thing I struggle wrapping my head around of late. When faced with the question 'are Arsenal in the title mix' why do the naysayers come out with "Arsenal have not played any of the big clubs", like that matters?
How many big clubs are there in the Prem? Four I'd say including us; City, Chelsea & Man U.
Mathematically, what really matters is beating the smaller sides such as West Brom, Cardiff, Norwich, Liverpool and other such faceless, run of the mill sides along with Spurs.
It is nice beating Man U and City. But all it would really do is send out a statement. How do you think Man U have been winning the league in recent years? They knew how to beat these sides.
Arsenal are in with a chance purely cause they've developed a knack for this.
Once again, the "Arsenal have not played any of the big clubs" is another generic line these buffoons come out with.
Beating Smaller Teams Key To Win Title

Liverpool aren't a patch on Arsenal. That much will become evidently clearer (if it isn't clear enough already) as the season goes on.
Tottenham have made some good signings and I think they can make top 4, but they won't be challenging for the title this season. They'll be far more dangerous next season when their new signings have had a whole season together, they'll gain that familiarity and the fluidity in play that comes with it.
The reason why we've started so well and playing so well is because we've kept the core of our squad together for the first time in years. No major outgoings, and a reasonably small number of signings. The players know each other well, and how they play. I think people are underestimating how big of a difference that keeping the squad together makes.

"I think your being rather naive NOT recognizing that both Spurs and Liverpool are in the mix as BIG challengers this year. Get real man."
This comment is amusing as it actually proves the guy who posted it's naivety.
Liverpool are a below par side, while Tottenham have very little going forward.
"And arsenal have? Hahahahahahahahahaha fecking hell hahahahahahahahahahaah somebody hahahahahaha"
One would think a City fan posted it. But a Scouser? Don't make me laugh.

they have 2 very clinical strikers, and 1-3 away at Sunderland is a great result for them.
stop smoking your pipes believing Liverpool & Tottenham are not in the BIG boy mix!

Is this jonafc serious? You think Tottenham and even worse Liverpool are on our level?

Dubbed, i don't understand all this Liverpool hype going on, we had the same zhit in Kenny's full season.
They are in a battle for 6th with Everton, which i think they are going to lose. Plus BR is one of the most over-rated managers in the game, if you saw his Reading team you will see where i am coming from.
