Sloppy Seconds........

.......... apparently The Disgusting or Special One depending on who you support cried when they appointed Moyes at Manchester United !!

Perhaps it is sloppy seconds for the faithful at Stamford Bridge ?

Subjective of course but I would say if there are more than two articles making the exact same point, it is too many.
---------------

Youre correct that your perspective is subjective.

1- as there are more than 2 people on a football forum, then it is more than a remote possibilty that there will be more than 2 conversations/ threads on any given subject.

2- There isnt a curfew like BBC 606. many people comment after getting in from their game or after work/school/ eating pies/ having a smoke whatever.

Numbers

You seemed to have reeled in the cha.vs with this article, they are posting countless articles about Spurs on their own board. Talk about saddos. They were celebrating getting a point yesterday like they had won the cup final. Spurs had their worse half of the season so far, and they could still not win with a full strength team. Laughable.

Have you sh!et stirred on every board today?

Lionel and blanch, very valid points

Sandy, I would disagree with you regards to suggesting that we are celebrating the point. Given that Tottenham are looking very strong, we are not playing well and that we generally haven't responded well to going a goal down to good teams, I would call it more relief that we battled to a good point. Fair assessment?

Didn't see the game, but I'd agree that a point sounds fair from what I've heard/seen from the highlights. More to come from both teams

Hopefully this will be the season for the London teams.

Fair comment.

But some of your lot on your board seem to be thinking that because Chelsea had a measure of control for 30 minutes of a 90 minute games somehow Spurs are useless, when we all know that is not the case. Arrogantly they think that Chelsea are streets ahead, which again they are not.

Sandy, in fairness, I think that is just down to pure wummery. You just need to look at the first half to see we aren't streets ahead but I was pleased with how we came back into the game. Think we could maybe have nicked it but I imagine you all think the same thing about Spurs. Props to AVB and Baldini for building this strong side. Should be a hell of a season

Spurs did play well first half, and Chelsea controlled the second half, Sandro should have definitely come on second half though to negate Mata and stop your midfield controlling the game. You may well have nicked it, but then again Spurs should have gone in at half time with the game done and dusted.

Nevertheless a point a piece was fair, and as you say the season is going to be something special. I do think however Spurs have an extremely strong squad now, and are built for the long haul and being involved in a lot of competitions, not just for the first couple of months of the season.

Spurs still have a lot to come back, Kaboul, Rose, Capoue, Adebayor, Lamela, Lennon, etc. None of whom were involved yesterday.
