england v half fit india

why are england going nuts over beating a half fit indian team without there best bowler and sehwag just back now and clearly not ready

seems a little desperate to me but if it makes you feel better carry on and hey if they come back just riot and they will forfeit!!

Oh yeah, one missing bowler. England are the world's best. At least the riots aren't over something as pathetic as religion like your backwards country seems to love.

It seems to have escaped your notice, but England are also without an opening bowler and their #3 batsman.

If India are half-fit that's their problem, not England's. This is SPORT you know, not chess.

It's a big deal because India are No1 in the world, and so far we've not merely won the tests, but won by a wide margin.

If it makes you feel psychologically better then by all means play down it's importance - that will just help England all the more. The first step to improvement is admitting you've got a problem.

Pretending to yourself that what we're seeing is some kind of fluke caused by a couple of missing men plays right into England & South Africa's hands.

Even the Aussies must be looking at this and thinking they have a chance to get back to #3

Wide boy of Melbourne

You just posted this on another thread, thereby losing all credibillity;
"Now England's openers have got through the 1st hour without loss I see a big England score.

With time likely to be lost to the weather in this test I expect England to try for a monster 1st innings score and then try to enforce the follow-on."

Please explain how England can enforce the follow on when India have already batted, do we give them a third innings, or do you not follow cricket ??

This has become a very boring series. I knew we were superior to India in every department, and knew that 2 years ago, but to be honest this is ridiculous. I feel sorry for some excellent Indian cricket fans who have been on here sharing their humour and wisdom with us.
Let's just grab this win, and cancel the last test match as it has no bearing on anything whatsoever. We are the best team on earth ( not often we say that when talking about English cricket lol) and India have clearly given up completely. Infact lets go one better than that, and blame the rioting and send the Indian team home, giving them a well earned rest and stop wasting everybody elses time. This Test Match series is a mismatch of massive proportions and was always going to be. It's our time.

Yes we are world champions t20, Ashes holders and world no 1 in cricket.

Are we the only nation on earth to have won a cricket rugby and football world cup?

India have been a disgrace this series harbjan didn't wanna be here, khan should not have been rushed back as he was, should have done more warm up and worked on their fielding and fitness

your arguement on injuries is flawed to date India have lost khan and harbjan now khan looked very good in the limited amount he played I will grant you that but Singh has been aweful and completly ineffective and has decided to pull a sicky rather tuan hurt his figures

England have lost trott arguably the best batter in the world right now and tremlet who India struggled badly with in the first test

Big difference we have depth you don't and this is a sign of some very long years to come for India

I hold my hands up. Fingers obviously typing without connection to brain on that occasion. What I was thinking was win by an innings - i.e. without having to bat again.

God knows how I managed to start writing about a follow-on

BUt yes, I do follow cricket. My first 'live' test was England v West Indies at Edgebaston actually, 1991 if memory serves, and I've seen some live test cricket in all but 3 years since.
