I've just been reminded by someone how good this guy was and got me thinking that he is never mentioned in all time greats. His club career goals and performances were as good as I've seen in the old channel 4 football Italia days and anybody that was old enough / can remember USA 94 wil tell you he single handedly dragged Italy to the final (although admittedly missed the decisive spot kick). Maradona is often remembered as the man that dragged a poor Argentina to World Cup glory so do you think Baggio would have been held in similar regard had he scored the winner in the final against Brazil in 94?

Phenomenal player- seriously underrated seeing as he's rarely mentioned in great footballers these days, Rui Costa is another one.

One of my favourite player, I remember his goal against Czechzlovakia and his time at Juventus and Milan, what a player, those times Italian football ruled, remember, Giuseppe Signori, Vieiri, Del Piero, Baresi, memorable, now it's Germany domination and Spanish football.
