Going to buy a new computer, what do people make of this,

I have an almost identical item in my spare room. Which has broken....PSU blew up, i reckon it had also taken a few things out with it.....I wouldn't bother. Get an Acer/something from ebuyer.

Obviously mancblue that is what I meant

But the specs for that price are awesome. How long didyours last for admin?

Admin,

I just need a new tower, what would you recommend? I don't need an OS even, just something reliable which is good for day to day stuff. I also need to know where to get it.

Actually I recall making a similar thread a few months ago when buying a computer for my parents.

Will hunt that out...

Blew the first power supply after 3 months, and the second after a year and a bit. I just use my laptop now.

Update,

On Saturday I couldn't even get the computer to start so gave up and was very close to buying a new one.

My techie mate came round yesterday and it worked fine for him and great ever since.
