Ok first of all I am not writing this purely on the vasis of sterlings performance today but due to his overall performances in 2013, which have been very poor to say the least.
He is poor at simple passes even in the final third, seriously lacks the final quality ball n fluffes one on ones. Just poor n not the player I saw my fellow redmen raving about and I hope the boy proves me worng but I doubt it.
On the other hand I see januzaj and he appears to be much more confident and mature player and simply has a lot more ability, class and quality despite the fact that both are 18 years old and play the same winger position.

Sterling will be the better player. The young United player is enjoying the plaudits Sterling enjoyed when he first burst onto the scene last season before the inevitable idiots start criticising him for having a run of bad form and suddenly he will never be good enough, until in fact he does become good enough, by which time the same idiots will be saying 'I always thought he would come good'.

It amazes me how anybody can claim an 18 year old international for England and a player who has been very good in as many games as he hasn't, showing the normal inconsistency of a young winger hasn't got it.
Nearly up there with somebody who said Carragher was poor for Liverpool during his career.
Maybe it runs in the family?

sterling created chances for both teams today. I think he'll do well if used properly. a shot of speed in second half substitutions maybe.

Sterling has knuckled down and worked hard to improve his game.
If you've got players like Gerrard and Suarez on at you all the time, you're going to improve as a player.
He's had a very good season. Hopefully many more to come!
