After knocking West Brom out of the Capital One Cup, West Brom are now looking for some revenge as we travel to the Hawthorns for the second time.West Brom will also be on a high after beating Man Utd but Arsenal will also be on a high after currently being 11 games unbeaten. This will be a tasty match.

West Brom could be without strikers Victor Anichebe, Nicolas Anelka and Shane Long, meaning Saido Berahino could make his first league start. Scott Sinclair has also been ruled out until after the international break with a hamstring problem.

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna faces a three-week lay-off after picking up a hamstring injury in Tuesday's Champions League victory over Napoli. His absence means Carl Jenkinson is set to come into the team.

MATCH PREVIEW:

Arsenal return to The Hawthorns less than a fortnight after their last visit in the Capital One Cup, with manager Arsene Wenger stressing the need to focus, keep things in perspective and build on the excellent start to the season.

The recent cup visit resulted in a 4-3 win on penalties for the Gunners (the match finished 1-1 after extra time), but it'll be a different line-up this time as Wenger's side go for an 11th straight win in all competitions.

It's a run that's all the more astonishing when you think back to the manner of the opening-day defeat at home to Aston Villa, and the crowd's reaction to it.
The atmosphere is rather different now, though, after Mesut Ozil's arrival and a string of impressive performances and results, including this week's dominant 2-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League.

But while much of the pre-match attention in the national media may focus on Arsenal ahead of the game, West Brom were actually the star turn in the Premier League last weekend with their superb 2-1 win over the champions Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It doubled Albion's win tally for the season, and coming on the back of a 3-0 home win over Sunderland was further evidence they are perhaps settling down after a rocky start that had seen just two points accrued from the opening four games.

Arsenal travel to the West Midlands having won their last eight away matches in the league, and their recent record at The Hawthorns is good, too, winning on three of their last four visits.

Albion have lost two out of three at home so far, but face this test in much better shape than they would have been just a couple of weeks ago.

MATCH FACTS:

Head-to-head:

Arsenal have not lost any of their last six visits to The Hawthorns in all competitions (W4, D2).

The two sides drew in the Capital One Cup less than a fortnight ago, with Arsenal winning the penalty shoot-out.

West Brom:

West Brom have lost two of their first three home matches in this season's Premier League - their only win came against bottom club Sunderland.
The Baggies have scored fewer than half as many goals as Arsenal (6:13) in the Premier League this season.

Saido Berahino, who scored his first Premier League goal in last week's famous win at Manchester United, has already scored against Arsenal this season in the Capital One Cup.

Morgan Amalfitano has scored in his last two Premier League appearances for West Brom.

Arsenal:

Arsenal have won five league games in a row, something they didn't achieve last season. They are the only team to score in all six of their Premier League games this season.

The Gunners have won their last eight away league games in a row, equaling their best run in the Premier League. The all-time record for consecutive away wins in the Premier League is 11 by Chelsea in 2008.
Aaron Ramsey has scored eight goals in his last eight appearances for Arsenal.

"Swansea and Southampton beat West Brom but we can't beat them, pathetic."

Southampton also couldn't beat Sunderland at home. Don't be an idiot.

The long shots was WBA plan. Stop us penetrating and keep is to long pops. We are better in that with Ramsey but without pace we cut open teams that makes space for the cleverness of players like Ozil.

Santi and Walcott will make us very very dangerous. Though bringing on Bendtner at the end was a bit pointless by Wenger. Gnabry would have offered more if he had brought him on instead of Rosicky.

I think the story of the day today was that Clark out-coached Wenger. I'm not using this to beat on Wenger with, but he really didn't set up to counter anything WBA had on offer, had he he'd have defintiely accounted for the pasting they gave us out wide. Instead he went with the same strategy that worked well against Napoli and seemingly expected this to fall into expected things to just fall into place.

A proper wide man was needed in a game like this, in order to, as jenius say, stretch WBA and open pockets for Ozil and others to exploit. Another thing this game brings into harsh light is that Giroud is never going to be good enough as the side's attacking spearhead. He's never going to be a consistent game breaker because he's never going to be good enough. Think what a Suarez, an Ageuro, a Rooney et al could do for us in games like this? Hopefully the hunt is still on for that game-breaking centre forward.

Can't be annoyed at the start at all, but you do think 21 points was there for taking from these first 7 games. 21 points that we managed to get last year in the equivalent fixtures.

Bring on the return of the injured.
