Back in the mid 00's Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and United use to run away with the top 4 places and 5th was the 'best of the rest', but last season the top 7 of those four teams, Everton, Spurs and City were miles ahead of the rest in top 7, was that a one off, or is their a new top seven forming in the PL for the foreseeable future?
I say that because i don't think the teams from 8th down are very good, you could say Swansea, but for every good result they had last season (Arsenal away) they had an absolutely terrible one (Fulham at home) and i just don't think their are any teams below last season's top 7 that are capable of putting winning runs together like the top 7 teams could.
Southampton have had a good start, but so did West Brom last year, Fulham would have probably been the best bet if their current squad were a few years younger but their squad seems to have hit the famous father time.
So basically, is there a new big 7 in the PL? and if not, who out of the other's could get in or even challenge for a top 7 place?
Is their now a 'big 7' in the PL?

23 years without a title must hurt.

Not really.
Had a verruca on my foot a couple of years ago that was a bit sore, but it didn't stick around all that long.

"23 years without a title must hurt."
Not as much as 52 years. The only reason Chels;ki have won the league is because of moneybags and his dirty oil money.

OP - short answer is yes.
However stats can be twisted to suit other arguments very easily - see above.
