Back at the club working on his fitness and hoping to impress
Would it be desperate of us to offer him a low wage contract until end of the season providing our fitness coaches think he is fit?

Putting Somma's injuries to one side, his downfall was that he was absolutely hopeless playing as a lone striker in a 4-5-1 - which is what Grayson liked to play in our first season back in the championship.

finally some sense, phew, cheers Warwick same as Ross I spose, he struggles when played as the lone striker BUT Ross has so much more to offer

Did Somma leave the club in the first place? I was under the impression that he was not given a contract but would stay at the club getting back to fitness in the hope of finding a club to play for.
