Im im too deep.

I made a comment about how many long range efforts Notts County had and how isolated our front line was. Im not a football manager and this wasjust my observation. Kenny has now come out in the star however and basically said Evans is out the team cause he doesnt stay in position and goes too high up at the wrong time.

Stopping his midfielders bombing on is something I have been annoyed about with Kenny as well as his having one winger tucked in. We should be going for it in this league. Solid though he is Kenny is a David Moyes, never likely to become an Alex Ferguson.

Sorry not included that the comment I made is that Kemny sets our modfielders up too deep.

We invite pressure and unless we play Doyle rarely win the ball back high up the pitch hence why Doyle has been so vital.

Put me on charge and the midfielders will be pressing jogh up ala mick, leigh wont be feeding off scraps and im prettier than kenny too.

My first comment when we appointed kj was that we had taken a safe, careful, steady option.
Won't be many thrills and j think that may include lack of wingers judging by what we have seen.

I have to ask Cinci, who the hell is J and why do you value his opinion so much?

You're constantly going on about "J say this" and "J think that". Incidentally, while we're talking about it, it is J sayS this and J thinkS that. We put an s at the end of third person verbs in English, not sure how they do it in America?

Bigyam, I think you're right. It is one thing in the prem but at this level and with our strongest area by far being attack, we should be just playing our game and shouldn't be looking to restrict other teams as our primary priority.

If I were Griffiths and Sako I'd be a bit irritated that we restrict ourselves in that way. Maybe he'll loosen up when he feels totally confident we're solid at the back but the signings of Golbourne (if indeed envisaged as a left midfielder) and Henry suggest otherwise.

Midfield has been our weakest area so far this season but it is also the area where the individual players are least experienced, where KJ has done the most swapping and changing and where we have brought in the biggest number of players either from outside the club or from the academy.

McDonald, Henry and (on occasion) Golbourne have been added and Price, Evans, Ismail and Davis have all been promoted. Only Sig and Sako have had a full season in the first team with us prior to this season.

So bearing all that in mind I’m not too surprised (or worried) that we haven’t been as convincing in midfield as we have in other areas.

Having said that we can’t rely on the back five to keep getting them out of trouble and we need to get better service to the front two or some poor performances will become poor results.

I’m all for your plan Yam. We have teh firepower to score shed loads in this division and win it playing good attacking football and using every blade of grass. Get it wide, get the midfielders joining in and lets score our way to promotion.

Your grammar Cinci, tsk, it's "I read for J".

Who is J though?

When you know Shawn Carter as well as Cinci does you’re allowed to shorten it.
