WOKING 0-0 FC HALIFAX TOWN

Placed 21st & in the drop zone, The Shaymen travel to Lowly Woking looking for their 1st away win of the season.

After Tuesday nights dramatic finish, The Shaymen need to come away from this one with 3 points,
After 14 games, we are sat on 21 points in 12th position..as the top of the league start to create daylight between themselves and the chasing pack.

Woking last 4 games

v Luton, lost 0-4.
v Nuneaton won 2-0.
v Southport draw 1-1
v Barnet draw 0-0.

Their last home game saw 1,400 through the turnstiles, so similar to home games at the Shay.

TOWN away, Not good reading !
Last 4, lost the lot
3-1
2-1
2-0
4-3................Conceded 11 & scored 5...
So. is it realistic to be content with a draw ? which would be an improvement & against the recent trend !
or...
Woking being in the lower reaches of this League, Should we be looking forward to our 1st away win

Gregory & Gardner both on 5 's now.

Come on Shaymen, grind out that 1st away win & an overdue 3 points

If Town go for it like they did at Luton, Woking shouldn't stand a chance. They've only won once at home all season and with the psychological effect of not winning away all season for the Shaymen, it has to be said a draw is likely. 2-2 it is then!

About an hour to kick off.

It would seem so Ken, But I'm going to stick my neck out & expect 3 points today for our lads,
If we can't do it against the likes of Woking..no disrespect, but they aren't doing well.. The away fixtures are going to prove to be a real handicap this season,

Surely a win is due away from home.
Up & at 'em Town,
1-3

Has anyone traveled to this one Ken ?

Not to be

another away draw. 2 points dropped there I reckon.

Chester did everyone a favour by holding run away leaders Cam Utd to a 0-0 draw, & Kidderminster. Salisbury & Luton all won closing the gap albeit slowly.

Welling at the Shay next Saturday..another '6 pointer' !

Woking-Halifax

Shots on target 4-3
Shots off target 6-7
hit woodwork 1-1
corners 1-2

The home side dominated the ball, but looking at the stats a point each looks a fair result.

Was a miserable day in West Yorkshire today, if the weather was similar down south, then I'm surprised it didn't help produce another high scoring game for the Shaymen.

Another game i didn't attend Darn Unda, but the match reports will commence next Saturday. I ended up playing football on Saturday but lost 4-3, just like the Shaymen did last Saturday
