Hi and welcome to GW6 of LSTD's league. Last week there wasn't a single draw as Manchester United lost 1-0 to a resolute Liverpool side. Birmingham also beat Manchester City 2-1. We are in for another great weekend of football. Kick off in approximately 9mins.
TEAM NEWS FROM VILLA PARK
Aston Villa lost to Arsenal last week and they face another tough challenge against Chelsea. They make one change from last week as Luis Muriel is given one of his promised starts. Chelsea make two changes in defence as Lahm and Ashley Williams replace Bonucci and Richards. Min Son continues.
Aston Villa: Begovic; Piszczek, Koscielny, Ogbonna, Gibbs; Flamini, Ramsey; Di Maria, Coutinho, El Sharaawy; Muriel
Chelsea: Neuer, Lahm, Williams, Varane, Baines, Khedira, Vidal, Eriksen, Son, Neymar and Van Persie
TEAM NEWS FROM OLD TRAFFORD
Manchester United are desperate for a win today after a disappointing defeat at Anfield last week. As a result in comes Pirlo for Tevez. Hull are waiting for the window to re-open again so they can finally confirm some of their signings. Tranq seems to have stamped his authority on that team now as Renegade says he’d rather play Hull now than later. Meanwhile manager Fan has also sung Tranq’s praises after seeing the club go through turmoil despite leaving them in an excellent position.
Manchester United: Buffon, Rafael, Pepe, Vertonghen, Adriano, De Rossi, Pirlo. Navas, Hamsik, Reus, Villa
Hull Mandanda, Lowton, Benatia, Sakho Enrique, Carrick, Fernandinho, James, Fellaini, Mirallas, Rossi

All games are underway
Sub - Mandzukic for Muriel (Aston Villa)
03:00 GOAL! The Arsenal defence just cannot stop conceding goals! Genuine quality from Yohan Cabaye as Newcastle take the lead. The little magician surges forward before picking out the run of Theo Walcott with a lovely reverse pass. Defender Dani Alves (is he even a defender?) is turned far too easily though as the striker rolls his shot past Diego Lopez. Robin shakes his head in disgust.
05:00 Newcastle look a bit rattled by that goal - and I agree with Mr Ice Man Fan, Diego Lopez was beaten far too easily. He ball went underneath his hand
07:00 It's a slow start at Old Trafford, with United goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon cutting out one early cross into the area. That's been about it.
09:00 What a miss by Aston Villa striker Mario Mandzukic. The striker heads wide while unmarked six yards out after a cross by SES. Muriel would have scored that. Chelsea are fortunate not to be behind.
10:00 Everton force the first corner and Stefan Kiessling rises at the back post to head wide of goal. Positive start from the home side.
12:00 Nice link up from Portsmouth as Modric and Turan play an intricate one-two, but Akinfeev is off his line quickly to make a flying save at his near post.
14:00 Birmingham go close. Willian whips in an inviting cross which Rooney gets on the end of but he heads agonisingly over. West Brom counter-attack and Hulk has a clear sight of goal but his shot from just inside the area is too close to the keeper, who gathers at the second attempt.
17:00 GOAL! Everton’s early pressure pays dividends as Jeremy Menez’s corner is met at the near post by Carlos Puyol and his header loops over everyone and into the far top corner. Cracking start for the Toffees.
21:00 GOAL! First chance, first goal. Liverpool lead at Wolves. And it has been coming. A corner from the left is only half punched away by Perin, who is forced to drop back over his own line by Ezequiel Lavezzi and therefore unable to prevent Ramires’s shot from crossing the line before he palms away.
23:00 Manchester City's Suarez uses his pace to beat Montolivo to the ball and the winger gets in a cross which Benzema volleys horribly over from 15 yards.
26:00 GOAL! Another goal has gone in. It’s at the Hawthorns and Birmingham break the deadlock at the. Toni Kroos heads down a cross and fellow forward Wayne Rooney is on hand to stab the ball past the WBA keeper from six yards.
29:00 Hull have a good attack on the right hand side, it’s Aaron Lennon who beats Filipe quiet easily. He then has the composure to square the ball back to the edge of the area, where Fernandinho miss kicks the ball. He certainly didn’t have the composure there.
32:00 GOAL! The pressure has been building and the Everton defence cannot hold out. A cross from the right runs all the way through to Frank Ribery on the left side of the Saints box. He drives a low shot that is going just wide until Karim Benzema sticks out a boot and diverts the ball high into the net.
35:00 GOAL! That has been coming. Manchester United have started strongly and, after David Villa’s shot at the near post is blocked by Steve Mandanda, the striker's resulting corner is met by Pepe, who heads in for the first goal.
37:00 Arsenall are battling for a way back into the game against Newcastle. Jerome Boateng meets a corner and heads back across goal but Pablo Zabaleta is on the line to head away. Close.
39:00 Portsmouth are pushing for a goal at Fratton Park but Mario Gotze’s shot from the edge of the area is claimed by Igor Akinfeev.
42:00 GOAL! Arsenal come up with the goods to level against Newcastle. David Silva is the architect as he drives down the right before pulling the ball back for Cristiano Ronaldo to lash in at the near post. Lovely stuff from the Gooners
44:00 GOAL! Portsmouth are ahead. Marquinhos charges down the right flank, crosses the ball in Lewandowski is there to head in!
45:00 The game at Villa Park is yet to liven up. No much gone on so far as both teams struggle to break each other down.
Half-Time
Second Half Begins
47:00 GOAL! Chelsea strike first. Fan’s team talk seems to have done them good. Leighton Baines’ free-kick is floated over the top of the Villa defence and to the back post, where Min Son is well-placed to head into the top corner. It is a good finish, but Villa need to look at themselves for allowing the winger so much space
49:00 Back at Old Trafford, Manchester United are on the front foot as Marco Reus swings in a cross from the left but Carrick heads clear for Hull.
52:00 Aston Villa are knocking at the door but Chelsea have it firmly bolted. A long period of home pressure is repelled by Chelsea with Mandzukic firing the final shot wide of the far post from the right corner of the box. Muriel would definitely have scored that one as he shakes his head on the bench.
55:00 Optimistic from Manchester City. Cesar Azpilicueta carries the ball down the right and shifts it in to Luis Suarez 30 yards from goal. The Uruguayan shifts the ball on to his left foot smartly and drags his shot wide.
58:00 Hulk – WBA
Surely Birmingham will win this now. They better otherwise it’ll be trouble for manager Wilshere. Hulk dives in two footed and is given a straight red.
Subs – Wilshere looks to take advantage of the situation by putting quality on, Illara is on for Medel
62:00 GOAL! Arsenal finally claim the elusive second goal their display deserves as Dani Alves shows determination on the right to find space and cross for Sergio Aguero to find the back of the net from 12 yards with a scuffed shot that loops into the net with Diego Godin committed to a dive.
64:00 Wolves pressing Liverpool at Molineux. Schurrle has a header saved by Courtois. It remains 1-0 to Liverpool.
Subs – Di Natale is on for Menez (Everton)
67:00 GOAL! Hull equalise! Pepe heads a corner clear straight to G Rossi who takes a touch and drives in a shot which takes a deflection and flies into the net.
69:00 Liverpool keeper Thibaut Courtois, is forced to touch Roberto Soldado’s rasping drive over the bar in what is turning into a very tight game. Still 1-0.
Subs – Van Rhijn and Lestienne for Smalling and Young (Wolves), Dzeko for Navas (ManUtd), Payet for Lacazette (Birmingham), Yarmalenko for Loembaerts (Sot’on), De Bruyne for Lavezzi (Liverpool), Chamberlain for Ronaldo (Arsenal).
73:00 GOAL! Angel Di Maria swings in a cross from the left, where SES has found a pocket of space and the Forward controls a volley across the keeper and into the top corner for the equiliser.
Substitutions Reinartz had been stripped and ready to come on until that goal went in. Instead it’s Weimann for Eriksen instead. Ryo and Wisdom for Lanzini and Clyne (Soton), Kuba for Draxler (Pompey), Van Ginkel for Lampard (Liverpool), Koke for Fabregas (Arsenal). Koke has come off the bench in every game so far this season.
77:00 GOAL! Wayne Rooney plays the ball into the feet of Toni Kroos, the German holds off his marker and back-heels the ball back into Rooney’s path, and he is able to drive the ball away from the dive of the WBA and into the top corner. Wonderful stuff
Substitutions More subs, Ben Yedder for Schurrle (Wolves), Cardozo for RVP (Chelsea), Barkley for Navas (ManUTD), Lichtsteiner for Mata (Liverpool), Silva for Rosicky (Arsena). LSTD makes the same subs as he did last week at the same times. Has he placed a bet on himself to do that. Looks like he’s going to be in trouble.
82:00 Hull's main threat is definitely from set-pieces. They win another free-kick out on the left which is well delivered, Sakho wins the header at the far post but United stand firm and are able to get it away.
84:00 GOAL! Manchester United take the lead! What an important goal this could be! Ross Barkley plays a neat one two with Marek Hamsik, who was too strong for the defender. Barkley went into the gap created by Hamsik and finessed his shot into the top right corner. Great goal.
85:00 Everton holding out but Man City are knocking on the door. A good chance has just been missed.
Subs: Gomez on for Rooney (Birmingham), Sabala is on for Everton.
87:00 GOAL! Manchester City have managed to come back from one goal down, and have now taken the lead also. Suarez bursts clear down the left and picks out a gem of a cross deep into the area, where Karim Benzema arrives to send a header back across the keeper and into the net. Incredible scenes.
89:00 GOAL! It's a goal Chelsea deserve. Substitute Weimann bursts through a vacant Villa defence and while the chance looks to have gone as he cuts inside, he has the presence of mind to play in Oscar Cardozo. The brilliant Asmir Begovic gets a hand to his effort but it's not enough as the ball spins agonisingly slowly into the back of the net. Game surely over.
92:00 Big Chance for Southampton to equalize. A cross from the left is beautifully chested down at the back stick by substitute Ryo Miyaichi, but the striker thrashes his shot wildly wide from no more than five yards out. A bit of inexperience shown there.
Full time everywhere
