I see no apology

What annoy's me the most is when a ref makes a bad decision, yet they just stand there all smug and won't explain the reasoning.

If he say gives a penalty that was blatantly not one, he should explain to the hard done by team's Captain/Manager why he gave the pen, then do the same to the media. Mistakes can happen but it's their cowering afterwards that annoys me.

Manager's are obliged to give interviews to the media, and so should ref's imo.

Sound really contrite over it

No mate, that's the life of a myopic referee. I certainly don't condone the behaviour of the idiots that sent him death threats, but I am glad that he decided to do one, as ineptitude to the degree that he demonstrated has no place in the local park, let alone the level that he managed to blag his way to.

He has besmirched the good name of Norway !

The Norwegian Police asked him for evidence of the death threats he was supposed to have rec'd at the time and he could not produce them.

No sane person in fear would not get the help of the police.
