Well deserved, especially after the drama of the second race.
It would have been a shame if he hadn't nabbed it at last.
Nice to see some wet racing this year....

Plato looked good, I thought he jumped the start of the second race, Gordon Sheddon said so too.

Plato was strangely subdued in race 3, finishing behind Jordan, but all the same, a fabulous series and great coverage from ITV 4.

The Vauxhall was looking good as well.

Roll on 2014!

Yes, shame he is too old for single seaters this side of the Atlantic.

They aren't so narrow minded/stupid/ageist/sexist/racist/blinkered in America, talent is talent anf there is so much more to the world than effwun.

I didn't know about Renault. I don't drive one but I am a big fan of theirs. They are very independent minded and plough their own furrow.
Also any company that organises free race meetings must have its heart in the right place.

I have become a Mercedes fan over the years although still bridle a bit at the knock-down rate they got a sizable chunk of Brooklands for.

But I have heard they are very generous in the area and have become popular, so they must have something going for them...
Oh yes, and Lewis Hamilton, the fastest driver over one lap, as everybody agrees, drives for them, gotta be good!

ive really tried hard to enjoy BTCC but i dont seem to be able to. Its perhaps the lack of speed in comparison to F1

Gonna give it a few more goes! Hopefully get there, coz i love the fight thats involved!

Great news. The only downside is that Mercedes are not coming into he series as a manufacturer.
